I put a "complaint" in to planet feedback about this because I don't think its right that they canceled our orders - those were the prices stated and they should honor those prices because it was their screw up - not ours.

It would be nice, but honestly I doubt it would even be possible for them to honor mess-ups as big as these. They would have to dig the money out of somewhere to pay the manufacturer the correct price so that would mean HUGE lay-offs.

Ex: Say they had 1000 ordered of each item (which was probably alot more) and there was at least 10 items with the mess-ups at approx. $500 savings each (some more, some less), that would equal out to $500,000 worth of give-aways that they would have had to find the money to cover somewhere. And to come up with that money they would have went straight to lay-offs. That would, at the least, have put 24 workers making $20,000 a year out of work. And if they were part-time or made less than $10 an hour, alot more.

My order was also cancelled. It was very blunt, no "sorry we screwed up so bad" or anything. I agree that honoring the mistake would be impossible, but I think if they would like to make ammends they could offer us free shipping on our next order or something.

When I emailed them asking them about my cancelled order they told me that they "terminated the promotion" they never told me it was a mistake.
