Walmart Christmas
Last time I was at Walmart they still had some Christmas items for sale cheap. Go to the lawn area inside of course.
They have silk poinsettias for 25 cents a piece. I bought some and they had the pots of silk ones but I didn't price them. Cheap though. Christmas shirts were still there and lights, ornaments, gift bags, paper, etc.

I went to my Walmart today and they still had 2 aisles of stuff. I got an M&M "fortune-telling" thing for about $3, even came with the M&Ms.
Rite-Aid still had stuff too, but it was all 90% off

There wasn't much left at my Walmart except toys. I did get Noah a tiny drum set marked down to $13 (think it was $20). Got Meredith the Christmas Carol Barbie doll for $13 (down from $19.95). So the toys still aren't real cheap. Oh, the TVs were marked down a good chunk since Christmas too. We had been watching for a new LCD HDTV. Wound up getting a 42" Sanyo for $798. The Samsung was $796 & the Vizio was $797, but the sales associate said everyone has been returning the Vizios and hears complaints on the Samsung as well.

I was there last week and they had everything 75% off their christmas stuff. still had tons left of decorations, bulbs, paper, bows, bags, silk flowers, ornaments, you name it. I bought a ton of the pretty metal tins that you put fudge and cookies in for 75cents each. also bought a ton of lunch bag type christmas bags to put breads in for a nickel a piece. also bought some big huge individual ornaments to give away next year for a quarter a piece.
yes, it says alot about the economy for sure. the garden center was still full of aisles of christmas stuff at the one near me.
