I had been searching for a kid's laptop and thought I had decided on the VTech Nitro Notebook as it had good reviews. Some people thought the recommended ages of 5-11 were way too high though, and this would be for a very advanced 5 1/2 year old. Well, the VTech site says ages 5-7. Anyway, I did a search for
best kid's laptops and discovered the new Double Vision Notebook. Unlike previous versions, kids can make presentations on the laptop and hook them up to the TV to show them off, or just play the games on TV. I didn't find any reviews yet since it's new, but I like what I've read and am giving it a shot. I did a price search and it's a lot higher elsewhere, even $79.99 at some places. No tax at Amazon either. Can't beat it!
