Wal-Mart has 100 ct. indoor/outdoor Christmas lights for $0.87!!!! - Big Big Forums

I went to Wal-Mart this morning and they had boxes of 100 ct indoor/outdoor Christmas lights for $0.87! They had white, red, blue, purple, and multicolor. I bought 10 boxes

Now maybe next year I won't have to spend 2 hours trying to get lights to work.

Awesome! Thanks! I have blue and purple theme tree, and right now there are only a whopping 100 lights on the tree (one string of 50 each blue and purple) cuz I can never find the solids in 100's in those colors when I look. Good thing I have sparkly ornaments to reflect them. Next Christmas will be twice as sparkly now

I got 3 trees!!!

I got 2 ~ 6 ft trees for $7.88 each

I got 1 ~ 7 1/2 ft for $39.??

I got stocking for $1.48 each, the knitted ones.

The wal*mart 20 minutes from me has 50ct lights for .75

I bought a couple. Multi lights & red. (what Mike wanted, I said "see, isn't it fortunate you have such a persistant wife"? lol) The one closest to me had nothing of the sort.

They all charge differently anyway. Still great deal.

Have you noticed all Wal-marts are not created equal?

I went to our local Wal-mart, and yes, they had Christmas clearance, but the lights were not marked down nearly that cheap yet...and they still had a lot of stuff left-over from the holidays, because it was only half of the original price off...

I hit 2 different Walmarts. One was nearly cleaned out of everything except wrapping paper and the other only had white lights left. I am bummed. I've got one more Walmart to check out for the solid colors. I did see some solid red lights at a local Walgreens for 75% off, and a Home Depot had several Christmas trees... 7.5' for about $18 and 7' for about $10. Didn't get either of them since I didn't like the needles - looked too fake close up...the green plastic rectangle needles were pretty big.

I went back to Wally World today and the 6 ft trees are now $3.94 and the 7 1/2 foot are $19.60

Pretty much have nothing left but trees, and I doubt they will be there long.
