Has anyone ever had to deal with Harbor Freight before? Hopefully not.
I just tried to call their customer service line because of the trouble the store gave me with the coupon for a free set of screwdrivers. She basically offered no help and said that the retail stores dealt with that and they had no information or anything to do with it.
SOME customer service. So basically it would be up to each individual store on what kind of "rules" they want to set for something like this.
Hopefully nobody else is having the same trouble I am.

They tried to give us trouble with it last night but finally when he couldn't figure out how to take it off the register he just gave us the screwdrivers and let us leave...That was our experience with it.

Hi!! I live in California and I had the same trouble with my coupon. First, They said "sorry, that coupon isn't for this store". Then I asked to see a manager. The manager said that I had to buy something to get the free item. I then asked the mamnger to tell me where on the coupon this was stated. HE GOT REALLY IRRITATED!!! UGH!! It's not my fault , freak.
What a drama. I got my screwdrivers though.

had a bit of trouble because the one girl at our store is ALWAYS anal but the manager came along and fixed us right up  The original clerk apologized for the girl I said no problem we are used to her rudeness by now......maybe she should work a warehouse job where she doesn't have to deal with customers cause she is rude as ......

This is one of the worst qpon freebies we've ever had !!!
I too experienced problems using this qpon...my store in Laurel, MD insisted that I had to make a purchase to get the freebie...only after I insisted the qpon did not state 'with purchase' did they start to bend...but I only got the freebie after they made a call to a Manager outside the store who said to go ahead and honor it...it was extremely frustrating that they put me thru this for a $5.99 screwdriver set !!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear some people had problems with the people who work there, so maybe I am glad there are no stores in my area. Thanks anyway as it sounds like a good deal.

Thanks again for this coupon! My husband and I used it today without any problems at the Clarksville, TN store. We got the free screwdriver set and got $6 off an additional item with the 15%. The coupon wouldn't scan for the free screwdrivers, but the clerk went in the long way to make sure we got everything the coupon was offering.
