Be careful when using Hartz products. Some animals have died because of certain chemicals in their products.

Devine:
great post, thank you for posting this....
and Patchouli:
I am glad you said something about this...my mother put the hartz flea drops on her beloved-beagle a couple of years ago...and the dog almost died...and still has health problems all because of this product, so those who have not used their products before, please be warned about the potential dangers...

Re: Pet Makeover Kit:
Thanks fo the link op, but I must be overlooking it, I received the makeover kit last year and loved it. I love hartz products, and like greenies, my pets have never had any problems with them. Is there a direct link for the sign up for the kit, because all I see is an e newsletter with coupon offer. Thanks again!

Re: Pet Makeover Kit:
Long time reader, first time poster.
I want to also confirm that I used flea drops from this company (per package directions) and both my cats had a terrible reaction. Their back legs were kicking uncontrollably while they tried to walk and they had twitching as though they were suffering a seizure.
I called the company who referred me to a vet who ordered us to wash off all the product as immediately and thoroughly as possible and if the kicking still occured my cats would need an emergency trip an animal ER.
Im not saying this might happen to everyone or because of every product, but it happened to us.

Re: Pet Makeover Kit:
I have sent that link to my mother because her dog 2 years ago just out of nowhere started having siezures and they have had to give it meds for the last 2 years and if my memory is still half good it was right after she used Hartz flea drops. Now there 6 year old terrior will never be well.

Re: Pet Makeover Kit:
Whew....I was going to warn everyone about Hartz products and I see you're all on top of it.
While I'm sure the majority of their products are safe, I've boycotted buying any of their products since they seem unwilling to admit that their flea control products have caused great harm to many pets.
