I hope that all teachers take advantage of this event. It was GREAT! I went to my local Staples yesterday and received my canvas bag (they had a choice of purple, red or orange bags) filled with goodies such as:clear pencil box, a scented marker, a quick ring applicator, a BIC mechanical pencil, 3M poster strips, a two-pocket poly folder (clear), a sheet of scratch-n-sniff stickers (smiley faces), a Crayola erasable colored pencil (sky blue), 1 oz. Planters Peanuts, a pack of three crayons, 3M sticky notes in puzzle pieces shapes that fit together, Post-it cards sample, Scotch Brite Easy Erasing Pad sample (like Mr. Clean Magic Eraser), coupons and drumroll please...a Saturn test drive for $25 in Staples supplies ($25 off of your next $25 or more purchase award certificate; takes 4 to 6 weeks to arrive in the mail!!!! YAY!!! They also fed everyone...Boston Market ham and turkey and cornbread), Subway (subs, of course), veggie tray, KFC fried chicken, Bojangles chicken and biscuits and sweet tea. Needless to say, I did not have to cook for myself or kids yesterday! It was a great event! Please go if you get the chance!
