My Mother has just recently been diagnosed with terminal small cell lung cancer. The only chance of living a little longer (other than from the great man above) is from chemo. The one she gets by IV is done in the office but then she has to take 15 pills in 10 days and those things cost a whopping $1600. This has to be done every 3 weeks. They had no insurance so her DR did hook her up with one of these companies to get the chemo meds that she needs. I just wish there was one out there that would supply the pain meds that she needs also but they are controled substances so I don't know of any that do that. With all the other meds she is on it cost around $700 a month. With no insurance and only $1400 a month income on disability it gets ruff! Thank God they have kids to help them out.
