Thank you so much for posting this. I'm going to pass it along to my oldest two children. I'm in hopes that they can use it. Neither one of them have health insurance. Thanks again for posting it.

it goes through the medicine companies and it is based on income. you might get your meds as low as $5.00 a piece or maybe free. i work for a community action agency and we use this program alot.

Sorry!

But the free medicines program is going to stop as of Jan. 1, 2006!!

I belong to the free medicines program and my DRS office told me that this will end as of 1,2006!
So I called the company that I get my medicine from and they confirmed it!

I am on medicare and medicad. I can not afford $200.00 a month for one script and $150.00 for another, plus alot of other meds that enclude me and my DH! We are both on disability and trying to make ends meet now!
What are we suppose to do!!? Go without food to get the meds we need?
We have a $682.00 spend down! That is because we are on medicaid.

I am sorry, but MO SUCKS!!!!! on their program. My sister-in-law works for the goverment and she visits MO alot, and she doesn't even understand what the gov. of Mo is trying to do! is trying to do! She is so mad at the governor, she could just scream!

What does a person do?
As of right know I don't know to do!!

Besides MO, ther are 2 other states that are in, it you might say, A trial stage, to see if this is going to work!

But, excuse me, IT WILL NOT WORK!!! It is going to make it harder on the people that need medicines!!

Thanks for letting me vent!
