Talking Birthday ideas for boyfriend?

Okay you creative people! Anyone else have any ideas of what I can do for my boyfriend on his birthday (beginning of July)? I plan to make him the sign language thing from another post, and I'm going to make some coupons ("good for a back massage", etc) for him and make breakfast and supper...but I can't think of much else...

I don't have much money, so I'm trying to keep it cheap and personal. If you have any ideas let me know.

Thanks!

Nessa

I actually give my husband his own spa day. (The only setback that really isn't necessary is that I save up $125 all year from various enterprises and take him to a hotel with a jacuzzi tub.) In the morning I fix a nice brunch, then run a hot bath and lay out his clothes (if he is to wear any). I give him a facial, work on his nails and scrub him down with an apricot scrub. Then I wait on him had and foot. Later in the day I make a nice italian dinner, run a hot, bubbly bath and make him soak for a while, then I give him a massage and serve some bubbly and strawberries. He does look like a prune when I get thru with him.

Wink bf's b-day

ok if I may ask, around how many years young is your bopyfriend?
here are some thoughts on presenting the gifts that are 'wrappable'
take a small gift and put it in a small box, wrap the small box with some tissue paper or whatever is handy...then take that box and put it into a bigger box and do the same thing, keep doing this until it is in the biggest box that you can find.

another variation on that would be to wrap the small box in layers upon layers of wrapping paper, so he would be in suspense for a little while longer.

here is another idea that is sort of romantic yet suspenseful....
on his b-day leave either a message on his answering machine or leave him a written 'clue' in an envelope that he is to open when he wakes up, for example send him to the icecream store in order to pick up clue number two (leave clue two with the sales person)clue #2 will take him to another place.... you can get quite 'creative' as far as the 'clues' go. basically send the guy on a wild goose chase, hunting for his gift and have you waiting there to present it to him with a smile on your face and a red rose in hand.

and a third thought, you could always take a gift and wrap it and then get some yarn or string and weave the string all over the house and at the end of it being the gift.

yayy! thanks guys! great ideas.

jwillis - jacuzzi would be nice, but i think i'll have to settle for bath! i never thought about italian for dinner (he loves it), i'll have to search around for it. i'm not the best cook either! hehe.

supermous - boyfriend will turn 21 (doesn't really drink much though), and i've thought of the clue game, but lol, knowing him he'll get lazy and decide it's too much and give up! i think the string idea is cool though! that's definately something i would do.
