I keep noticing all the people who go nuts over free lip balms, bath bombs, salts etc. and I make my own quite simply with easily accessible ingredients. If anyone wants recipes I would be happy to pass them along! Reply to this message with th recipe(s) you want and I will post them!!
But here's a lip balm recipe I like:

Basic lip balm
2 tablespoons beeswax (you may use the colored sheets!)
2 tablespoons coconut oil (available at health food stores)
1 vitamin e capsule (poke hole & drain oil into wax mixture)
1-2 drops oil based flavoring

Melt oils together in glass dish (microwave)or on stovetop in small saaaucepan. Can be stored in tubes or teeny cosmetics containers.

LOVE these!

FIZZING BATH BOMBS


1/4 cup citric acid powder
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup cornstarch
2-3 tablspoons of emollient oil (coconut, avacado, almond or apricot)
3-4 drops fragrance or essential oil
colorant (powder works best)
flowers or herbs to stir in (sometimes I use herbal teas)

Mix toogether all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
In a micrawave safe container melt oils in microwave. (easy enough!)
Mixture should JUST hold together when pressed-not too sticky!
Blend together and shape into medium sized balls 1-2 inches in diameter. Set aside on waxed paper to set and harden--24-48 hours.
(If you are rushed you can place them in the freezer and them wrap them in plastic for gifts or display).
*Alternate molding: I like to use small guest sized soap molds you can make angels, hearts, flowers, etc. and they are just beautiful!

This is so easy you're going to kick yourself!

MINERAL BATH SALTS
3/4 cup Sea Salt
3/4 cup Epsom Salt
8-9 drops of fragrance or essential oils
powdered colorant (if desired)
flower petals or herbs (if desired)

Mix together and store in airtight container!
EASY EASY EASY!

This looks pretty in a glass jar!

MILK BATH
4 oz. powdered milk
2 oz. cornstarch
2 oz. citric acid powder
1 1/2 ml Apricot Oil
8-9 drops fragrance or essential oils
flower petals or herbs (if desired)


BLEND BLEND BLEND!!

This is a SUPER Vitamin C facial treatment!!

8-10 fresh rosehips
1/2 cup distilled water

*if using dried rosehips soak overnight to plump back up!

Pour ingrediants into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Leave on clean face 15-20 minutes.
Rinse.

Makes 2 oz.

This smells like the beach!

SEA MUD BODY MASQUE
1/2 cup powdered clay
1/4 cup powdered kelp
1/2 aloe vera gel
1/4 cup salt water

Combine into a paste.
Apply to face and body.
Wait 15-20 minutes and Rinse!
I like to follow with a moisturizer.
