Supplies:
5"x 6 1/2" Paper FlairTM blank card
Paper FlairTM: bluebells, blue diamonds, blue-gray solid: all included in How to Create Handmade Cards If You Think You Can't
12" of metallic silver thread, sewing needle
7 assorted blue beads: Blue Moon
1) Cut away 1 5/8" from the opening edge of the card. Cover the card front with bluebells paper. Glue a 3 1/2"x 6 1/2" piece of blue-gray to the inside front so 1/8" extends past the edge. Cover the inside back with blue-gray, then glue a 4 1/8"x5 3/8" of diamonds to the center.
2) Cut out the window piece and glue to the card front 1/4" from the fold, 1" above the lower edge. Cut out the inner window through all layers.
3) Thread the needle with the silver thread. Sew through the card front, outside to inside, 1/8" above the center top of the window. Thread the beads, knotting below each bead to space them evenly on the thread. Sew through the card again 1/8" below the center bottom of the window. Bring the thread back up through all the beads and reinsert it through the first hole, inside to outside. Wrap the inside thread end to the front and tie both ends above the window, making a shoestring bow with 1/2" loops and 2" tails.
