I have a question

How do you recycle greeting cards? I have so many used ones but would like to use them again by making new ones out of old. Any ideas?

you could just cut off the front and write your message on the back of the cover like a post card.

I would just cut off the card front and glue or double sided tape it on to a blank piece of card stock folded / cut into a same size card - or to save card stock, just leave a 1/2 inch tab at the fold to glue onto.

alternatively, cut a piece of thick paper that you cannot see thru (construction paper or scrapbook paper maybe ) the same size or slightly larger to add a decorative border to the outside and glue/tape it to the inside to cover the old signature. if appropriate to the card, you can use decorative scissors to cut a pretty edge. or you can cut out a pop up design for the inside. you could use a pc card program to print the inside verse or just print /stamp /write the verse and cut it out in a shape and glue it on. I am guessing everypne will still be abe to know you recycled - but eco is trendy now.

another idea is to cut out the card design elements separately and use those as embellishments on your homemade cards - attach with the dimensional foam tape for a 3d effect

envelopes to fit will be a problem but those are easily made too

lots of people recycle card fronts into small boxes and xmas ornaments too.

added - I googled for you
