Arrow Cheerful pot pals



You can make these in various sizes by choosing different sizes of pots.

Materials Needed:
Lara's Crafts Wood Parts:

Surfaces

6 ea. U11051 Flower Pot 5/8"H
1 ea. U10748 Flower Pot 1-1/16" H
4 ea. U10002 Bead 3/8" (10mm)
8 ea. U10001 Bead 3/16" (8mm)
1 ea. U10006 Bead 3/4" (20mm)
2 ea. U10611 Football (wings) 1-1/2"
23" LKWIRE Wire 19-Gauge
DecoArt® Americana™ Acrylic Paints:

DA01 Titanium (Snow) White
DA10 Cadmium Yellow
DA36 True Blue
DA67 Lamp (Ebony) Black
DA129 True Red
DA131 Hauser Light Green
Other Supplies:

Feather
Black string
Cotton swab
Powder blush or pastel stick
Black Identi-pen
Fish hook earring
Wood filler
Dowel 1/8" x 4" long
JP-7020 Bar Pin 3/4" (optional)

Instructions:
FRANKIE THE FROG

Basecoat large bead, four medium beads, and two small beads Hauser Light Green.
Take two small beads and glue to head, fill top holes with wood filler. Let dry and basecoat Hauser Light Green.
Eyes are Cadmium Yellow and Lamp Black with Titanium White highlights. Add cheeks with powder blush or pastel stick, using cotton swab. Highlight with Titanium White. Add mouth with black Identi-pen.
Body: Neckline is Cadmium Yellow on large flower pot. Basecoat two small flower pots with Cadmium Yellow. The rest of large flower pot is True Blue.
Legs: Basecoat four small flower pots True Blue.
Assembly
Fishing Pole: Cut 1/8" dowel to 4" long. Use black string to tie one end to the top and tie other to fish hook earring. Take small piece of feather, glue to side of fish hook earring, then wrap a piece of string around top. Glue pole to arm and leg.

LADYBUG

Head: Basecoat large bead Lamp Black and round face True Red. Eyes and nose are Lamp Black dip dots with white highlights. Add white to dots for cheeks.
Body: Basecoat large flower pot and all small pots Lamp Black. Collar and trim on two small pots are white. Dots on dress and sleeves are True Red (see pattern).
Wings: Basecoat two footballs True Red; add three Lamp Black dots on each wing (see pattern).
Assembly
Glue wings to back of body.

BUSY BEE

Head: Basecoat round face Cadmium Yellow on large bead and rest Lamp Black. Cheeks are powder blush or pastel stick applied with cotton swab. Highlight with white. eyes and nose are Lamp Black; highlight with white.
Body: Basecoat large flower pot Cadmium Yellow with Lamp Black stripes about 1/4" wide. Draw with pencil to get positioning (see pattern).
Arms and legs: Basecoat six small pots and found medium beads Lamp Black.
Wings: Basecoat two footballs with white and shade with Cadmium Yellow.
Assembly
Glue wings to back of body. Add wire antennae to top of head.

Thanx,I found something to keep my mother busy she is retiring next month and she said, that she doesn't now what she's going to do with all the free time.
