Fishing Bear Instructions:
Before painting, glue the flat side of doll head to flat side of egg. Glue 5/8" beads (ears) to top, rounded portion of the head. Glue a 1/2" plug to the middle of the face. Let dry.
Head - Basecoat with Sable Brown. Blush inner ears and cheeks with water thinned Brilliant Red. Paint muzzle and dip dot eyes with Lamp Black. Apply Titanium White dip dots to cheeks, nose, inner ears and eyes to highlight.
Egg & Spools - (Shirt) Basecoat Brilliant Red, Mix Avocado + White, then paint plaid pattern. Apply 5 Black dip dots for buttons, then highlight each button with two tiny White dots. Detail around the edges of the plaid pattern with the Black marker.
Egg Cup - Paint top portion Violet Haze, bottom portion with Lt. Avocado - White. Float Grey for the crotch and pants leg. Detail along the float lines with Black marker.
Fish - Paint Sable Brown. Lightly sponge Lt. Avocado lengthwise alone one half. Repeat on other half using a Blush lightened with White. Apply a black dip dot eye and three groups of tiny White dots on the Green to highlight. Sponge spool with Lt. Avocado.
Glue bead (hand) to the end of one spool with the bead hole parallel to the spool hole. Glue the spool to one side of the body, below the head. Repeat for other arm. Let glue dry thoroughly.
Tie a triple knot in one end of an 8" piece of jute. Thread the spool onto the jute. thread the opposite end of the jute through one hand. Glue two fish to the jute. Tie another piece of jute to the twig. Insert opposite end of twig in hand (bead) hole, then glue. Glue fish to jute, trim away excess jute. Tie a jute bow, then glue it under the bear's chin. Glue hat to head.

Lady Bear Instructions:
Glue head together and paint it the same as for the fishing bear.
Egg & Spools - Basecoat with Lt. Avocado + White. Apply White dip dots using the handle end of the paintbrush.
Egg Cup (Skirt & Feet) - Paint top portion Brilliant Red. Paint Lt. Avocado + White stripes 5/8" apart. Paint bottom edge of egg cup (legs & shoes) Sable Brown. Paint shoes Violet Haze. Dot side of each shoe with White.
Quilt Block - Basecoat White. Float edges with Violet Haze. Float an 'X' from corner to corner with Violet Haze. Dot with White. Paint Lt. Avocado stripes and Blush + White dots on quilt sections.
Glue hat to head, behind ears. Glue moss and flowers to the hat. Cut doily, then assemble around neck. Glue to secure. Glue a ribbon rose to collar.
Glue quilt block to the middle of the jute. Thread jute ends through holes in hands, then knot to secure.
