![]() If you have nosy neighbors like I do then your going to love this project lol. Give a window a frosted look with a spray-painted frost finish. It won't completely block the sun but will give some privacy. Or make a lacy painted window by using pieces of lace as stencils and spray-painting over them. Tape off the window frame with painter's tape, hold pieces of lace on panes of glass with low-stick adhesive, then spray-paint. ![]() Another easy option for providing privacy is window wallpaper -- a thin, lightweight patterned plastic applied to the window with soap and water. Cut the wallpaper to size, spray the window with soap and water, and set the wallpaper in place. Spray again on top, and squeegee out the bubbles. ![]()

Dont you hate that. I like to open my curtains during the day for some sunshine and everytime I do that the guy behind my house sits on his porch and just stares. It made me feel very uncomfortable so I found this idea and used it. Since then he doesnt sit on his porch and stare anymore lol.

Wow, Suneedayz4u, that lace window is beautiful! To add a thought here...the "lacepainting" art was very popular in the 70's. (Oops, am I giving away my age, here?) My brother had a Honda motorcyle and painted it white. He put lace over each part and sprayed Candy-Apple red paint over it. Turned out beautifully. Nobody for miles around had a bike like THAT! LOL!!!

I bet not LOL. But it sounds like it was really neat looking. Im pretty safe in saying my hubby wouldnt dare let me try this on one of his toys LOL. But the next time he buys me a deer feeder I'll sure try it lmao. Maybe then he will get the idea that JEWELRY would be better suited for me lol.

For the lace painting in the window do you just use regular spray paint? I never open my blinds in my bathroom because the window opens to the driveway between my house and the one next door so anybody walking by could see in my bathroom. This will be great.

Yes just use regular spray paint. Then you can spray it with a clear coat on top to help it stay : )
