The finished product:
![]() Materials: Glass fishbowl Gallery Glass Paint (a variety of colors, including yellow, orange, blue and green) Plastic sheet or mat Palette knife Pictures of fish from a coloring book or magazine Scissors Black marker Craft knife Squirt yellow and orange Gallery Glass Paint onto a plastic sheet or mat in a swirling motion, overlaying the colors. (or what ever colors you choose for your project) Spread the paint evenly over the plastic sheet with a palette knife, mixing the colors together. ![]() When the paint dries, it can be removed from the sheet in one piece. Squeeze out different color combinations on plastic sheets, and let the paint dry. ![]() Make a starfish from blue Gallery Glass Paint by squeezing out a dot of paint and drawing out star points from the center of the dot with the tip of the paint bottle. ![]() Lift the paint off the plastic mat. It will have a translucent look and the consistency of pliable plastic. Cut off a small piece of the paint, place it over a picture of a fish, trace around the image with a black marker, and cut out with scissors. Or simply cut freehand shapes. ![]() Stick the paint onto the outside of a fishbowl. The consistency of the paint allows it to adhere to the glass without adhesive. The motifs may be repositioned as desired. ![]() Continue cutting other underwater images from the paint, such as seaweed, bubbles and starfish, using scissors or a craft knife. Place them on the fishbowl. ![]() Now that your all done just add some floating candles to this project OR you can add fish tank gravel and decorations and have a low maintence fish tank for your kids lol.

Hey Sunee,
...Very cute project, I'm going to make this one with my 3y/o niece, it's perfect! BTW...her REAL pet fish just kicked the bucket...this is the 4th one that her "evil mother" (darling lil sis) has accidentally "killed" (overfed).... ~KraftyOne |

LOL krafty. I know what you mean. I bought my kids a fish tank this past summer. I spent a fortune getting all the stuff for it and the fish. We bought 15 fish. 5 apiece. Well the kids insisted on feeding their own fish. Lets just say we are now down to 3 fish lol. Im glad you like the post : ). Have lots of fun with your niece. Sunee
