I never heard of one, but here's an idea if you don't happen to have a funny looking hat laying around
cut off the leg from an old pair of sweat pants, tie it on the top to make the hat-leave long or short. Decorate with tied ribbons etc.

old fashioned newsaper hats - they can even decorate as desired - a collage effect with magazine cutouts, or with cereal, buttons, pasta etc

or
have any old santa hats, cowboy hats, sun hats or anything? decorate with light weight toys, kids jewelry, fake fruit, real veggis (mini carrots, green onions , etc)

topcatklaw is on a distinguished road
We had made hats by using a cool whip bowl, empty of course over the childs head for a sturdy type mold, then use newspaper to build the type hat, Pirate, or cone shaped princess, triangle shape by rolling and twisting and use masking tape. ( remove the bowl once you have the fit & shape) Then cover in your choice of tissue paper the choices are endless when you go to a party outlet I have also used paper napkins and paper table clothes that I have had stored! Stocking caps with long tassles are fun to make. Go to a website that sells hats and borrow some hat ideas!!!
