Help refurbish a childs chalkboard

I was cleaning my great grandaughers chalkboard and messed it up. Does anyone know of a paint or something I can do to fix this problem.

We bought some chalkboard paint (it comes in a spray and regular paint, also in green or black) at Lowe's. Sometimes I have seen it at Wal-Mart, but not often. We used it on a few of our kitchen cabinets (on the middle parts so there's still a wooden border around the edges) to make grocery notes, practice times, etc... It's pretty neat!

Home Depot and lowes both carry chalkboard paint in black and green and even Target.com has chalkboard paint.I believe you usually need more than one coat,i think.Hope that helps
