benefit baskets

I am looking for a site that would give me some ideas for baskets to make up for a silent auction.
My sister has been diagnosed with ovian cancer that has spread to her uterus and stomach cavity.
we are having a benefitand silent auction of baskets for her.

We are doing themed baskets right now where I work to raffle off for United Appeal. We have sports baskets with Bengals stuff in them, baskets with booze, Halloween baskets, a photography basket, baskets with cleaning products, baskets with tickets to local attractions such as Kings Island and the Cincinnati Zoo. Our department may do a basket filled with board games, not sure yet if we will or not.

Prayers going up for sister for a complete recovery.

topcatklaw is on a distinguished road
Many places will donate. Keep it theme based. Lottery tickets are HUGE in baskets, maybe combine with some bath or lotion products., or with car care product in a bucket.
Wal-Mart sells the clear bags in the craft dept to bundle your theme gifts in, then tie off the top with ribbon, raffia, yarn. Don't be afraid to ask for donations. First print a short letter explaining your cause. Then do some foot work. Say you have been giving a donation of a cake pan fill it with cake mixes, measuring spoons, or skip the mix and include a cook book for cakes and or casseroles! Let your mind go crazy. You can also consider using crinkle paper at the base of your clear gift bage or use a tea towel or something to go with your theme.. Have fun... Don't forget the kids and The Red Hat ladys too when you create bags...
