I know how to make bath salts. (very easy & cheap too). But some epsom salts. They are about $5 for a huge container. put what you want to use in a glass (not metal) bowl. Leave enough room to stir. Now, put in a food drops of food coloring. Add a little at a time to get the color you want. To get fragrance, add a few drops of essential oil, adding just drops at a time. It looks nicer if you get the fragrance/color to coordinate. For instance, maybe cinnamon oil, with red food coloring, vanilla oil with yellow coloring. You get the idea. You can also get some ocean fragrance, & mix up some blue-green coloring. Very nice. You can buy some cute little bottles to put the salts in, or Just take a square of nice cloth, pink around the edges to make it a circle, put the salts in, & tie it up with a ribbon. Next time you are in your local thrift store, look for samples of things, like shampoos & stuff to add to your basket. I used to work at a thrift store, & was always amazed at all the stuff ppl would not want.
