What can we post here?

anything that we do as a hobby??? I make custom made hand decorated cookies. I consider it artsy and crafty! Especially when I make cookie bouquets!
This is becoming my favorite forum on here...

Re: What can we post here?

I have made lots of cookie and candy bouquets too. They are so easy. My fav now is making candy sundaes and sodas. You can post about anything crafty as long as it is not advertizing I imagine.

I surf the web for crafts all the time and post the best of what I find in hopes it will inspire others. Lots of time I find a craft I like somewhat, just have to make it with my own "spin" on it.

I come here a lot when I'm looking for new craft ideas. Last year, I found the instructions to make the glass blocks that look like wrapped packages. I was able to make them and sell them at work. I can't wait to see what this year's "hot" craft idea(s) is/are. You can post anything that has to do with crafts. We welcome you to the forum and welcome your ideas.

Lindaadams,
Hi,
Could you post the glass blocks that look like wrapped packages? I did a search and could not find them. They sound very interesting. Thank you!!!

Hello,
I'm sorry I have not gotten back with you. I haven't been on the computer much lately. Here is the address of where I got my instructions from. Keep in mind that it doesn't have to be just for Christmas. There's Valentines, Easter, etc. With the first day of Fall tomorrow I pulled out my box of fall decorations for my office and found the lighted box I made for fall. I did a napkin with napkin glue and used silk leaves and acorns for the top. I hope this helps, real easy directions. Good luck!

Type in "glass block craft" in the search box. Once the results are up scroll down to "holiday shoebox: glass block lights". That will bring up the pictures and instructions.

Re: What can we post here?

I haven't done the cookie bouquets but the candy ones are really easy. I use a clay pot, decorate it, paint it however you want, then put half of a strofoam floral ball in it, spanish moss, to cover the floral ball. I buy 2 bunches of those 88 cent fake flowers at Wal Mart, cut the stems off into indivual stems in different sizes, take the flower head off and save it for another project, use the stem and hot glue one little miniature candy bar or pack of candies to each one, then arrange them in the pot. they come out really cute =) You can make a little card as an added touch of you want

Re: What can we post here?

I just bumped up a post on other candy bouquet options.

I use those cheap wood skewers for my candy bouquets, sometimes I leave them plain, sometimes I paint them or soak in food color t0 add color. I use clear pkg. tape to tape on the candies. I use any heavy container - coffer mug, vase, jar etc and cover the stryo in shred. or weight a light container
