Flower Pot Pens-Great Mother's Day Gift for Kids
I received this gift from my son who made it at school. It is one of my favorites. Sorry, I don't have a picture, but it is so easy that I think you will be able to visualize it.
You will need
1 small clay pot (the kind you would place a plant in.)
Green florist tape
artificial flowers
dried beans
pens (any color-any type)
1. Decorate the clay pot anyway you wish or just leave it like it is.
2. Snip the stems off of the artifical flowers leaving about 1 inch of the stem from the bloom.
3. Using the green floral tape, attach the pens to the blooms using the floral tape. ( the pen, secured with the floral tape, will become the stem of the flower) Tape all the way down the pen to just above the writing point.
4. Fill the clay pot 3/4 full of dried bean.
5. Stick your flowers (with pen stems) into the flower pot.
You have a beautiful pot of flowers to sit on your desk that are actually pens.
