4” Styrofoam Ball
5/16” Dowel Rod

Metallic Gold Paint

3 Yds. - 1-1/2” Sheer Ribbon,
Cream with Gold Edge
SUPPLIES:
Wire Cutters or saw (to cut dowel rod), Hot Glue Gun and Sticks, Sponge Brush, Greening Pins, Knife, Tape Measure
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut and glue foam to fit inside pot and level across top.
Cut dowel down to measure 17” glue and insert dowel down center of foam. Glue opposite end of dowel. Push ball down 3” onto dowel. Topiary should measure 18”.
Paint entire topiary form gold. Let dry.
Glue Spanish Moss covering foam in pot.
Starting at top of styrofoam ball, pin one end of garland into ball. Wrap garland around ball working downward, using greening pins as you go to secure. Allow garland to spiral down and around dowel. Secure opposite end of garland with pin into foam in pot.
Cut 1 yard of ribbon. Make a bow with 3 loops and 2 tails. Trim ribbon tails at an angle. Place greening pin around center of bow. Dip pin in glue and insert bow into top of ball. Cut a 18” length of ribbon. Insert greening pin into one end of ribbon. Dip pin in glue insert ribbon into bottom of ball. Carry ribbon loosely down and around dowel. Secure opposite ribbon end with pin and glue. Use remaining ribbon to make a bow with 6 loops and 2 tails. Place greening pin around center of bow. Dip pin in glue and insert bow at bottom of dowel.
Cut berry/nut/apple spray into 2 equal picks. Glue pick ends and insert one on each side of bow in pot.
Cut berry spray apart to make 7 picks. Glue pick end and insert berries among floral garland.
