Any Craft Party idea

I want to do a craft party, but I have not idea what to do it on. Where do I start? I don't want a big party. No more than 8 people. I think that's enough people. I know the host has to supply the supplies. So money is limited. Maybe I can have each of my guest(friends) bring a dish to the event. Is Sunday a ok day to have it on. Or a Saturday afternoon.

Please help!

I think this is a great way to exchange craft projects with your friends. And plus they can bring a guest or two?

Re: Any Craft Party idea

Hi there,
I used to teach a craft class to about 27 women, and Wow, was it hard coming up with projects that 27 can do by themselves.
One of the most popular projects was when I brought in bricks.
Yep, the same kind you build a house with, with the three holes in the side.
I prepainted the front with white paint, and during class, we laid the brick on its side and painted on the front or stenciled (Welcome to my Home, etc), then we filled the holes on top with spanish moss and decorated with lots of flowers. You can even hot glue stuff sticking up out of the holes like little bird houses. They turned out amazing.
You can usually find bricks anywhere (for free) usually. And the whole thing shouldn't cost much.
Let me know if you like the idea and want more explanation.
Just pitching an idea for you.........Good Luck!

I would think you could use any cookie cutters you have at home for variation. Hearts, stars, flowers could be tuned into window or garden danglers or even wind chimes with the addition of holes on both ends and beads strung on fishing line or bead wire

this decoupage project also shown
