Thread: Wedding Ideas?

My sister-in-law is getting married and she wants me to make her some invatations and announcements for her wedding. She has also asked me to try and find anything "crafty" she can do to make her wedding nicer and cheaper since I am the crafty one. Any ideas guys?

Im buying the Chocolate Factory and im going to make the little chocolates that go on the tables at the place settings. Also check out ebay because they sell party favors and such all the time and its cheap.

bookmarks with wedding infor on it, place, date, names done in their wedding colours.

wrap 2x4's the size of a small brink,in tissue or wrapping paper to coordinate the colour of the wedding to hold helium filled balloons.

if you crochet you could do a bunch of small baskets to hold chocolates for each place setting.

make 1 nice centerpiece with a dry flower arrangment or someother crafty item like a vase with the wedding info it again, could be etched or painted. Place a coloured dot under one of the chairs and the person with that chair gets the centerpiece.

small persoanl mirrors for the women are nice, on one side write, "see who we appreciate" and then they flip it over and it is a nice mirror. Mabybe not that crafty but nice.

something to mention, if there are a lot of little ones attending you will want to have a "craft" table set up for them away from the head table. It is nice for them to go and go soemthing. Make sure you use washable everything.

another nice idea is to have disposable cameras on all the tables, like one per small table and 2 per big ones, and have the guests take pictures of candid moments and leave the camereas behind for them to develope.

Another idea I saw on one website was to make a personalized wine bottle label for the bride and groom.
