ISO My Twinn doll/child clothes patterns

I ordered a My Twinn for my dd for her birthday next month, but the clothes are terribly expensive (as much as the dolls or more for matching outfits) so I ordered her naked and I really need to get hopping if I want to make a couple of matching outfits for them. I have gobs of materials, I just need a cheap (or free) source for patterns. Any ideas?

I don't have any patterns, but would you post how well you like the doll when it comes in? I am thinking about getting a baby. tia

Patterns - cheap to free

Thrift stores...that is where I get the majority of my patterns. I also make my own patters from carefully taking apart items of clothing, tracing the pieces, then adding about 1/2 an inch for seam allowances, and piecing it all together.

Also, check Hancock Fabrics and Joanne's if you have them. They usually have sales during the year where patterns are on sale for 1 dollar US each. Also, both have mailing lists where they will send you 40-50% off coupons to coinside with those sales.

Good luck

Thank y'all for your help. I would be happy to tell you what I think of the doll when she comes. They have eliminated some of the face shape options and colors for eyes, hair, etc. to make the dolls less expensive, they have sold prviously for near $200. This one ended up $79.00 plus shipping, I had to pick out the shape of her face and all myself for this price. They will do all the work from a photograph for extra charges.

Dd is VERY excited as she already knows the doll is coming.
