Any Crocheters out there? - Big Big Forums

I love to crochet, but I have to be in the mood to do it. You guessed it, that time is now. I just finished a baby afghan for my niece. Now I am wanting to make a shrug for myself. I have found a few free patterns around the web, butnot exactly the right one yet. Anybody seen any good ones around(I want one a little longer, but not too long) and with some nice pretty cuffs.

What is everyone else working on right now?

I am making a poncho. So far it is wonderful! I hope to finish it up this weekend so I can start on Christmas presents,

I lost my inspiration, lol. It got warm here again. Suppose to be cooling off, so maybe I will get the crocheting bug again. I am still looking for a pretty shrug pattern.

Hi everyone,

I do crochet, although not lately. Can't find my hooks!<grin>.
I feel silly, but what exactly is a shrug? I have an absolute ton of pattern books/magazines and might be able to look through some to see if I can't find a pattern for you....if only I knew what I'm looking for!!

A shrug is like a shawl, only it has sleeves(or at least cuffs) it goes across your back, and down your arms.
