This is the only one I know of that doesn't require an Ice-cream Maker...

Homemade Icecream

4 eggs
2 1/2 cups sugar
6 cups whole milk
4 cups evaporated milk (2 large cans)
2 Tablespoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt

In large mixing bowl, beat the eggs well. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Pour into a 1 gallon icecream container and have fun freezing your own icecream. Fruit may be added just before the icecream is frozen.

what kind of recipes are you looking for? What type of ice cream maker? I make ice cream all the time for us. Let me know and I will share some with you. I have one that makes 1 1/2 quarts of ice cream and also a big one that make 4 or so quarts.

This is my favorite. It is easy to mix and easy to put what ever flavor you want. You can use heavy cream (great and rich), half 'n half (still good) or coffeemate (in the refrig. section of store, good). You can add chopped chocolate chips, nuts, any flavors. If wanting to add fruit like peaches, chop about 2 c., mix with 1/2 c. sugar and 3 T. lemon juice. Let set in frig for about 2 hrs. Drain off juice and add to ice cream mix, then the last 5 minutes of freezing ice cream add the chopped fruit. I also use blackberries, raspberries and add sugar, let set, then strain in a fine strainer and add the pulp/juices the last five minutes of freezing or hand stir in at the end. Here is the recipe:
1 c. milk (whole, 2%, what ever)
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. heavy cream, half 'n half, or coffeemate
1-2 t. pure vanilla, to taste
Using a hand mixer or whisk, combine milk and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add cream and vanilla. Put in machine and freezer according to your directions. Makes 1 1/2 qts.
Experiment with taste, textures. Add crushed cookies, fruit, extracts, chocolate chips. I just experiment. Haven't had a bad bunch yet. Good luck.
