I want to make completely cloth dolls for my girls for christmas.Snow White and The Little Mermaid.I grew up with a strwberry shortcake one and wanted to do this as a very special gift.If I can't find patterns,is there any other suggestions?Thanks.

Thank you both.Can not find mermaid or snow white any where.There are some other dolls I may try to make that I found on these sites though.

Anyone know where I could find material with a big little mermaid or snow white on it,(if so I can cut out the imsge and sew together to make a doll).

I would try Joanne Fabrics. They usually have all the childrens materials.

Walmart has Snow White and Little Mermaid fabric.

Speaking of Strawberry Shortcake. I was just at Costco this morning and they have SS rag doll pillows. They are almost 3 feet high and they only want around $11 for them. I told DH I have to get those for the girls for Christmas!

I am in Lake City.It is 60 miles west of Jacksonville and 45 miles north of Gainesville,


I will have to go to Gainesville to find a craft store,but will check Wal-mart out this weekend.

I still have my Strawberry shortcake doll,she is about 18 inches tall.
