Arrow Sewers Wreath

Supplies

1-14" willow wreath
1pkg-paper twist or ribbon
2-60" tape measure (yellow)
1 pkg-large colored head straight pins
1 pkg-safety pins
1-sewing gauge
1 pkg-wire needle threaders
1-tomato pin cushion
6-1"x3/8" wood hearts
4-¾"x1" wooden spools
4 skeins-DMC embroidery floss (peach, green, purple, blue)
1-small scissors
1 bag- assorted buttons
6 bottles-Apple Barrel paint (red, yellow, blue, black, white, silver)
1 bottle-Tacky glue
1 piece-9"x9" fabric
Tools:

scissors
hot glue gun and glue sticks
Instructions:

Cut a length of ribbon approx. 60". Wrap evenly around wreath. Wrap one tape measure around wreath in opposite direction creating a criss-cross effect with tape measure and ribbon.

Cut on length of ribbon to approx. 14" to form tails of bow. Cut another length of ribbon to approx 27". Form loops for bow by overlapping ends approx. 2". Pinch all thicknesses together at center. Wire loops closed. Fold tail of bow so one tail measures 6" and the other measures 8". Cut ends of second tape measure with metal ends included to same lengths as bow tails. Center these pieces over ribbon tails. Glue so metal ends are at lower end of each tail. Cut remaining length of measuring tape to fit around bow. Glue in back of loops. Cut a length of both ribbon and tape measure to 3". Wrap ribbon around center of bow, glue at back. Glue tape measure over ribbon. This is the knot of your bow. Wire bow to top of wreath.

Glue pin cushion to wreath off center to the left and tilt forward slightly. Open scissors slightly. Glue to wreath just a first criss-cross above pin cushion. Glue sewers gauge under pin cushion tilting it slightly forward. Wrap four spools with four different DMC colors. Allow thread to trail from spool. Glue thread in place. Glue to the right of pin cushion.

Paint hearts. Two hearts in each color. Paint thimble silver. Allow to dry. Glue one heart to front center of scissors. Glue remaining hearts in clusters at criss-cross sections around wreath.

Fill in bottom of wreath with button of different colors and sizes. Add buttons to heart clusters.

Mix needle threaders into front of wreath. Stick pins into pin cushion. Add a small dot of glue to base of pin to hold in place. Add a large safety pin to pin cushion.

Insert two safety pins into each criss-cross section. Dab with glue to hold in place.

Pin fabric to left side of pin cushion and fluff.

Thank you! Jalex, can I ask you a question? How did you get just the picture and the directions in your post without the rest of the online page?
