Cute idea for Baby Shower

This is so cute I just thought I would share... some may already know it. My mom used this when I was born and I used it when I had my son. What I did was printed this poem on yellow paper (blue or pink would work too) and tied it with a ribbon like a diploma and handed them out as thank you at my shower. Anyways its just cute and you could even write it up on a huge piece of paper and hang it at the shower and have everyone sign it with their best wishes. Another thing I did was take my baby book and have people sign it at my shower and my son's baptism, it just adds a little extra thoght to a baby book!

I'm sorry I couldn't be with you
But I'm terribly busy you see
Painting my eyes, my cheeks, my hair
So mommy will be proud of me.

I'm sending this little message
To convey to you this thought -
The stork will soon have left me
To use the gifts you brought.

This is soooooooooooooooo sweet. I make diaper cakes for center peices at showers. This will be great to give as a gift for coming to the shower.
