ISO: Crafts for 3rd graders MOVIE THEME

I am doing a craft at the library for about 50 3rd graders. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas that will keep them busy for apx 15 minutes. Possibly movie theme...the summer reading program is "Lights camera read".

Thanks for your brainstorms!

HUMMMM......................

I'm thinking! Maybe something w/ 101 Dalmations??? It's a good kids Disney movie and most kids like dogs??? Maybe something to color or paint for their spots? Or A Bugs Life is a kids movie. Maybe something they can also learn about bugs but sometimes bugs gross girls out!!..LOL Please let us know what you decide to do. Sounds like FUN! Good luck!

Film strips (squares w/ the little squares on the sides) would be cute... you could give them each one piece made of construction paper or printed off the internet and have them color or draw themselves in a movie or a movie poster or fav movie character (like 101 dalmations, or bugs life) and when they are done you can hang them all up like one big movie strip...

Or you can make flip books.. those were always fun... It may be a little work on your part, but the stick figure ones are really cute. Just have all the pieces on one or two sheets and have them cut them out and put them together.. and when they are done you have a little flip book thats like a movie of the stick figures running or doing whatever.
