MATERIALS: Bernat Cottontots (Solids: 4 oz / 113 g / Ombres: 3 oz / 85 g)
Main color MC 1 ball Solids/2 balls Ombres
Contrast A 1 ball (Solids or Ombres)
Size 4.50 mm (U.S.7) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
GAUGE: 16 sc and 20 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].
With MC, ch 59. Join with ss to first ch to form a ring. 1st rnd: Ch 3 (counts
as first dc). Miss first ch. 1 dc in each ch around. Join with ss to top of ch 3.
60 dc. 2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each dc around. Join with ss to first sc.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with ss to first sc. Rep last rnd
until work from beg measures 3 ins [7.5 cm]. To shape top: 1st rnd: Ch 1.
*1 sc in each of next 8 sc. Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sc. Yoh and
draw through all 3 loops on hook - sc2tog made. Rep from * around. Join
with ss to first sc. 2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with ss to
first sc. 3rd rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 7 sc. Sc2tog. Rep from *
around. Join with ss to first sc. 4th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around.
Join with ss to first sc. 5th rnd: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Sc2tog.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash or hand wash in cool water using a mild
soap. Do not use bleach. Rinse well in cool water and remove promptly. Squeeze
gently to remove excess water; or briefly spin dry in dryer on low setting. Re-shape
and lay flat to dry. Wash colours separately, SOME COLOURS MAY RUN.
