check out the loony or dollar stores for small plastic animals, they have a large variety.

As far as the desert floor goes, what is it made up of? Is it in layers?

Sand, what's under the sand? Anyone? That is my guess.

So if it was in layers, for example (water, rock, dirt, sand)?

Not saying that is right just my ideas of what they could mean.

You might also want to check out the Toys-R-UsŪ dollar aisle or Imaginaruim area for the items that you need!

Good luck, and keep us posted as to what you did and where you got it and what was supposed to be done!

Thanks

we buy stuff like that (animals, bugs, weird creatures, etc.) at the dollar tree. this link has other links that might help with the desert floor though. http://www.calacademy.org/research/l...ldca/wcadf.htm
