CD snowman

CD Snowman
Ornament and projects provided courtesy of viewer Gilda Toenes of Tampa, Fla.
Materials:
old CD
white acrylic paint
snow texture
dimensional fabric paint
glue
red pompom
holiday-themed fabric
Steps:
1. Paint CD with white paint on both sides. This will take approximately two to three
coats.
2. Once paint dries, apply snow texture on both sides of CD. Allow to dry.
3. Paint eyes and mouth with dimensional fabric paint.
4. Glue a 1-1/2-inch red pompom through the hole in the center of the CD for the nose.
5. Cut a piece of Christmas fabric approximately 12 inches square for the scarf. Fold
approximately 1/2 inch in the length of the fabric and run a bead of glue down the length
of the fabric. Fold the other side up and seal the seam The seam should be in the
middle. Once dry, loop it to form a tied scarf and glue it to a snowman.
6. Drill a small hole approximately 5/6 inch at the top of the CD.
7. Cut a 10-inch length of metallic gold thread. Knot the ends and loop through the hole
for hanging.
8. Spray with a sealer.
