melted snowman

Melted Snowman

Materials:
hot glue gun and glue
tiny top hat, tiny carrot, small shovel (sub a rake or broom for shovel if desired - find
these items in the doll aisle of craft or department stores)
small beads that resemble coal
computer printer and paper
aluminum foil and non-stick cooking spray or hot glue pads
Steps:
1. Squeeze a glob of hot glue onto aluminum foil that's been sprayed with non-stick
cooking spray. Sub a hot glue pad for the foil and spray if desired.
2. Before the glue sets, add hat, carrot and bead eyes and mouth. Stand a shovel, rake
or broom upright in the glue blob.
3. Print out a message to glue to the shovel using a computer and printer. Evelyn prints
"I'll be back" or "Happy Spring" on her messages. Cut out the printout, fold it in half
around the shovel handle and glue to secure.

I made a snowman round and fat,
And on his head I put a hat,
He sat out in the sun all day,
And slowly melted all away,
But I can tell just where he sat,
Because he didn't take his hat.
