TOOLS:
Wire cutters
Drill (we suggest using the Zona Mini Hand Drill #RS120 and the #DB19A bit for 19 gauge wire)
Hot glue gun & glue
Paint brushes
Waterproof felt tip pen (we suggest Pigma Pens)
PAINTING (all paints are by Delta):
1) Basecoat face and snowflakes White (2505).
2) Paint Hat Black (2506).
3) Basecoat scarf Bright Red (2503).
4) Using Copen Blue (2051) paint ribbon on hat.
5) Using Copen Blue (2051) and Kelly Green (2052) paint scarf to look plaid.
6) Paint leaves on hat ribbon Kelly Green (2052).
7) Dip the end of brush into Bright Red (2503) and make dots for holly berries.
8) To paint the cheeks: Mix a little bit of Bright Red (2503) with Fleshtone (2019) until you get desired cheek colour. Pick up a small amount of paint with the pad of your pinky finger. Press onto snowman face. Repeat for second cheek. (You may want to make a few practice cheeks on a blank piece of paper first).
9) Mix 1 part Bright Red (2503) and 1 part Crocus Yellow (2459). Use this orange colour to paint nose.
10) Dip the end of brush into Black (#2506) and make dots for eyes and "coal" dots for mouth.
11) Dip a toothpick into White (2505) and dot eyes.
12) Varnish if desired.
13) With a waterproof pen, draw the mouth, eyebrows and slash marks in the corner of eyes. Outline the cheeks, nose and holly. Write "Let it Snow" on the snowflakes. Outline the face, scarf and snowflakes.
HOW TO:
1) Drill small holes in the snowflakes and scarf for wire.
2) Cut four 3" pieces of 24 gauge wire. Attach the scarf and snowflakes together by inserting the wire through the objects and twisting the ends together. Cut off any extra wire. (Ribbon or string may be used in place of wire).
3) Hot glue the face to the scarf.
4) String 7" of twine or ribbon through Frosty's hat, tie and cut off any extra
