Instructions
Transferring Pattern to Fabric - Lay tracing paper over pattern and trace the basic lines. Follow manufacturer's guidelines and transfer design. With Finer Liner and Silver Platinum, outline the design.
Preparation - Wash and dry garment - without fabric softeners. Place shirt on Fabric Painting Shirt Board.
Painting Instructions
TIP: Work in one area at a time so shading and highlighting colors will blend easily. Always use 2 heavy coats of Heavy Metal Paint
1. Snowman's Face: Base with Glimmer. Load corner of flat brush with Blue Topaz and apply along edges - blend color toward center. Highlights are Diamond Yellow and Pink Ice. Shade under hat is Turquoise Twinkle and Royal Amethyst. Blush cheeks with Pink Ice, then lightly with Tinsel Red. Paint nose Pink Ice - leave a highlight area. To deepen the color, lightly add Tinsel Red; add just a touch of Diamond Yellow to warm the color. Highlight is Glimmer. Use Midnight Onyx for eyes and for accenting other facial features. Highlight for eye is Blue Topaz.
2. Snowflakes: Base with Glimmer, accent with various colors - applied lightly.
3. For Star: Base with Glimmer. Load corner of flat brush with Blue Topaz and blend toward center. Highlight is Turquoise Twinkle. Blush cheeks with Pink Ice. Use liner and Midnight Onyx to accent facial features. Accent ends of star with Blue Topaz and Pink Ice.
4. For Hat: Working one section at a time, apply Glimmer as a base blend toward center of each section. Blend Blue Topaz towards cap's center and Pink Ice on the brim. Use Turquoise Twinkle to highlight one section of cap and Pink Ice for other section. Lightly blend Diamond Yellow in top right of cap and the brim. Shade with Royal Amethyst.
5. Cut several pieces of floss in 6" lengths. Fold floss in half and attach to end of cap with a bow.
6. Outline with Silver using the Fine Liner. Special Instructions To clean: Wash by hand and lay flat to dry.
