Heavy craft wire for arms and support pieces
Low Temp Glue Gun and Glue, Sharp Scissors, and Wire Cutter Serrated Knife, ruler

Instructions:

Step 1: BODY- Insert a 4" length of heavy craft wire into the pointed end of the cone and glue to secure. Insert the other end of the same wire into the 4" ball for the head. Glue as needed.

Step 2: Glue a 6" square of Antique White Plush (AWP), and glue it to the bottom of the cone and up the sides. Cut a 36" circle of AWP. Stitch a running gathering stitch around the outside edge of it, 1/2" from the edge. Place the center of the piece of AWP on the center top of the head with the furry side out. Gather the AWP around the head evenly and wire tightly around the neck. Pull the gathers tight at the outside of the circle and knot off. Glue the gathers around the outer edge of the base to the plush cone.

Step 3: HANDS- Glue the 11/2" balls on the ends of an 18" length of heavy craft wire. Gather a 6" square of red felt around one of the balls and wire the felt tightly at the wrist. Repeat for the other hand.

Step 4: ARMS- Glue a 7" x 10" piece of AWP into a 10" tube with right sides together. Place the tube over one ball slightly past the wrist. Wire tightly at the wrist and flip the arm inside out to the center of the wire, Repeat for the other half of the arm. Wire the ends of the arms slightly overlapping in the center of the wire. Cover the wire with a 11/2" x 4" strip of AWP. Glue the center of the arms to the back of the neck of the snowman.

Step 5: FEET- Cut the 3" ball in half. Lay one in the center of a 6" square of AWP. Pull the felt around the rounded side of the Styrofoam to the flat side. Push the ends into the foam with the point of the knife. Glue the ends to secure. Repeat for the other foot. Insert half of a 4" length of heavy craft wire into each foot. (You will need to start a hole with the knife.) Insert and glue the wire into the body of the snowman in the same fashion.

Step 6: SCARF- Cut 2, 2" x 12" strips of Cadet Blue felt. Glue them together on one short end for a 2" x 24" length. Tie this in a knot around the neck of the snowman covering the wire. Glue 2, 1/2" x 2" strips of Red felt to each scarf end for stripes. Cut slits in the ends of the scarf for fringe.

Step 7: BUTTONS- Cut 2, 11/4" squares of Cadet Blue felt for patches. Tie the red buttons on the patches leaving the 1/2" thread tails. Glue the patches to the front of the snowman.

Step 8: EARMUFFS- Glue a 4" x 8" strip of Cadet Blue. Glue into a 8" tube. Flip the tube inside out. Glue the strip to the top of the head with the seam down on the head of the snowman, Cut the 2" ball in half. Lay one half in the center of a 5" square of Cadet Blue felt. Pull the felt around the Styrofoam and push the edges of the felt into the flat side of the ball. Glue the edges to secure. Repeat for the other half of the ball. Glue the half balls to the head over the ends of the Cadet Blue strip for earmuffs.

Step 9: FACE- Cut a triangle of Orange felt for the nose and glue it onto the face. Glue the wiggle eyes above the nose. Tie thread through the holes of the buttons and clip the threads to 1/2" long. Glue the buttons on the face in a smile
