Fabric-Tac Glue by Beacon Thread to match felt Monofilament thread 1 package Mill Hill Glass Treasures #12047 Lg. Domed Star 1 package Mill Hill Glass Seed Beads #02010, Ice 1 package Darice Holiday Trimmings #2405-82 Candy Canes 1 package Darice Craft Beads, 4mm Christmas Red Instructions: Step 1: Out of the royal blue felt, cut two 15" squares and with the remaining fabric cut enough 2 ½" strips that when sewn together will be long enough to cover the cording. Lay the cording along the center of the strip and with a zipper foot on your machine, sew the cording in the strip. Set pieces of blue aside. Step 2: Out of the white felt, cut a rectangle 5" by 15". This strip will be the snow on the ground. On one of the long edges, cut a gently curving edge. Cutting off between ¼ and ½ inch. (Refer to picture) With the remaining white cut out the roof and chimney snow using the pattern. Step 3: Referring to picture, cut out remaining pieces. Play special attention to the dotted lines. These are the cutting lines for pieces that will be covered by other sections. All sections are numbered and should be appliqued in numerical order. Step 4: Applique green door to house. Step 5: Lay the white ground piece on one of the blue squares with the straight edge of the white section even with the edge of the blue square. Pin in place. By doing this, you can safely position the house so that the bottom of the house is slightly covered by the snow. After you have the house where you want it, you can remove the white "snow" and sew the house in place. Step 6: Continue to sew sections in numerical order. When doing the windows, use the outside edge of the window as a pattern for the panes. Trim off about 1/8 of an inch all around the gold pane piece. Then glue the window onto the pane piece. Now it is ready to applique in place. Step 7: The tree is appliqued in sections, starting with the bottom section #9. Leave the scalloped edges free to give the picture more definition. Step 8: The silk ribbon is wrapped around the pole and glued in place before being sewn on. When all applique is complete, sew the prepared cording to the front. With right sides together, sew back to front leaving an opening for turning. Stuff pillow and slip stitch opening closed. Enjoy!!! http://www.kuninfelt.com/projectshee..._norpolpil.htm
