Penguin Can (for non painters)like me!!
Materials: Rainbow Classic Felt™ - 1, 9" x 12" Sheet each: black, white, red, orange Chenielle Stem - 1 each: red, white 2 - 1/2" red poms 2 craft sticks 3 - 3mm black poms White acrylic paint Black and red sharpies 14 oz. can Sharp scissors, foam brush, strong craft glue, pencil, ruler Instructions: Step 1: Cut the following pieces: Black - 12" x 4 1/2", 3 1/2" circle, 2 - 1" circles White - 3" oval Red - 12" x 1" strip Orange - triangle for nose Step 2: Glue black felt around can tucking overlap inside and glue down. Glue 3 1/2" circle on bottom. Step 3: Glue on white oval felt onto middle of can. Step 4: Cut 1 craft stick in half and trim as shown in pattern. Paint both sticks white. When dry, glue 2 pieces of stick to make sign. Using red sharpie add stripes, using black sharpie write NORTH POLE. Step 5: Glue on 2 - 1" circles for eyes and orange triangle for nose. Step 6: Twist chenielle stems, glue one stem to one side, hold in place and add red pom for ear muff. Repeat to finish other side. Step 7: Glue on North Pole sign at angle. Step 8: Tie red strip of felt for scarf and add glue to keep in place. Step 9: Add 3 black poms for buttons.
