Peach, red or blush pastel chalk
Darice white gloves ornament
5” styrofoam ball for head
12” square peach fabric for face
Tin candle holder for cookie tray
Wool doll hair
Assorted greens and picks for stands
1” Simplicity white faux fur
Wooden plug for nose
Glue gun
Craft glue
Sewing pins
Fleshtone Delta paint for nose
Gleams Fuchsia paint for lips
Charcoal paint for eyelashes
Koss pastel chalk for cheeks
3/4” faux fur trim
Fluff batting
Darice kid’s winter boots
Instructions:
Glue wreath to bottom of red ball.
Glue 5” styrofoam ball to top of red ball.
Take 12” square peach fabric and pin to front face area. Brush on glue or rub on glue with fingertips over edges and pins.
For hair: With wool hair and floral picks, start at bottom back of Mrs. Claus’ head and push pins to hold hair in place. Swirl around her head loosely so you get waves. You may twist wool to get a braid effect. You should end up with enough wool to make a bun at the top. Glue strategically where a push pin would show. Add a piece of greenery and berries in the middle.
Paint 1/2” wood button fleshtone.
Glue 15mm eyes on face. Use blue chalk for eye shadow.
Glue wood button nose onto face.
With a liner brush, brush on lips.
With a liner brush, brush on eyelashes over eyes.
Glue glasses to nose.
Glue strip of faux fur trim around neck.
Take 10” Victorian doily and put around shoulders. Take ball chain and enclose ends over chest.
Glue eyelet lace around waist.
Stuff kids winter boot and glue to bottom of ball.
Stuff gloves with fluff fill. Set aside.
Glue paper doily on top of candle holder.
Glue assorted cookies on tin.
Glue tin to red ball body where she would be holding a tray.
Glue gloves under the tray and to the sides.
Glue a piece of greenery and berries in hair.
