Supplies:
Fine gold wire
Terra cotta napkin rings
Elf dust glitter
Aleene’s True Snow
Paper clay
White felt
Acrylic paints - coral, red iron oxide, fleshtone, pink, black, nightfall blue
Spray finish
Instructions - Elf:
Base napkin ring with fleshtone. Dry. Using paper clay, form ball for nose and make ear shapes. Base paint ears with fleshtone. Glue ears onto sides of napkin ring. Glue nose into place. Paint black dots for eyes. “Stipple: coral onto face for cheeks. Make mouth line with red iron oxide. With liner, draw swirl lines onto cheeks with white. Paint nose with coral. Draw accent lines on ears with black pen. Spray with finish spray or ultra gloss. Cut white felt 1/2” wide to fit around rim of ring. Glue into place. Add elf dust to felt band.

Instructions - Santa:
Base with fleshtone. Dry. Cut felt 1/2” wide to fit around rim of napkin ring. Glue into place. Cut another strip 2” long and 1/2” wide. Fold in half and cut into teardrop shape for moustache (Fig. 1). Paint dots for eyes in nightfall blue. Stipple cheeks with pink, Make small ball for nose out of paper clay. Dry. Paint coral. Glue moustache into place. Glue on nose. Paint small pink mouth just under enter of moustache. Brush snow all over back and sides of napkin ring for hair and on front for beard. Cover moustache with snow. Make small circles out of fine gold wire to resemble glasses. Glue into place. Add elf dust to felt rim.
