Supplies: 1/3 yd. fabric-of your choice 1 Wimpole st. medium knit gloves, or kids size garden gloves 2 seed packets of your choice 1 12”x12” pillow form 1 “copper” 9”x12” felt sq. 1 “greystone’ 9”x12” felt sq. acrylic paints spice brown, seminole green, and flesh tone base 1 hot glue gun and glue sticks Instructions For the Pillow: Cut a 12”x25” piece from the fabric you have chosen. Fold right sides together to make a 12”x12” square. There will be a 1” seam allowance. Sew each side from fold and around the corners, leaving a 6” opening at the top (centered opposite the fold). Turn fabric right side out. Insert the pillow form. Hand stitch opening closed. Now that the pillow is sewn... From the copper-colored felt, cut one large pot (4”) and two small pots (2”). For the rim of the pots, cut out one 6” strip for the large pot and two 2 1/2” strips for the small pots from the copper felt. From the graystone-colored felt, cut approximately 6 random shapes for the pebbles. Using hot glue gun, glue the large pot to the center of the pillow. Be sure not to glue the top portion closed. Then glue the large strip to the top of the pot and glue the sides down. This should make a pot pocket on the pillow. Glue small pots to the lower right of the large pot sideways (one on top of the other) to make it appear as if the pots have fallen over. Glue the pebbles randomly as if they have spilled from the pot. Glue gloves to the lower left side of the large pot. Insert seed packs into the top pocket of the large pot. Glue in place. With acrylic paints (flesh tone base & seminole green) randomly blot the pots lightly to give a “dirty” appearance. With spice brown acrylic paint, blot the gloves lightly to give them a soiled appearance. © Copyright 2002, Tall Mouse Arts & Crafts, Inc. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
