Teddy Bear Hot Water Bottle Cover
Materials:
Wimpole Street Creations hot water bottle*
16" x 20" Wimpole Street Creations brown chenille*
Wimpole Street Creations large red crochet heart*
26" of 5/8" grosgrain ribbon*
two 8mm black beads*
black button*
pattern*
matching thread
polyester filling or stuffing pellets

Steps:
1. Cut two bear bodies, two heads, four arms, and four feet from the chenille, using the pattern provided
2. Pin the arm and feet pieces with right sides together. Machine-stitch around the edges, using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Leave an opening as indicated on the pattern. Turn the arms and feet to the right sides and fill with polyester filling or pellets.
3. Position the arms and feet on the right side of one body piece and pin in place , using the pattern as a guide
4. Place the other body piece on top of the arms and legs, right side down, and pin in place. Machine-stitch around the body through all thicknesses, using a 1/4 -inch seam allowance. Leave the top of the body open, as indicated on the pattern
5. Place the right sides of the head pieces together. Machine-stitch around the head, leaving the bottom open
6. Serge or zigzag the open edges of the head and body to finish. Clip the seams as necessary. Turn the pieces right side out and lightly stuff the ears. Stitch across each ear as shown on the pattern.
7. Stitch the beads to the face for eyes and the button for a nose
Hand-stitch or glue the heart to Ted-E-Bear's chest.
8. Fill the hot water bottle with warm or cold water and place inside the body . Pull the head over the top of the hot water bottle, tucking the top of the neck inside the head. Tie the ribbon around Ted-E-Bear's neck
Angel Hot Water Bottle Cover
Materials:
Wimpole Street Creations hot water bottle*
14" x 21" Wimpole Street Creations ecru chenille*
Wimpole Street Creations large natural knit bag for head *
Wimpole Street Creations 8" ecru doily for collar*
4" x 22" fabric for hair*
6" x 9" felt or thin bonded batting*
24" of 1/8" ribbon *
two black doll buttons for eyes*

Steps:
1. Cut two angel bodies on the fold from the chenille, using the pattern provided. Cut two wing pieces from the felt for padding.
2. Tear the hair fabric lengthwise into 1/2-inch strips; then cut the strips in half
3. Clip the center 4 inches from the doily and discard
4. Zigzag around the cut edge of the remaining doily piece.
5. Pin the angel body pieces with right sides together. Lay one felt piece on each wing
6. Machine-stitch around the body and wings, using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Leave the top open as indicated on the pattern. Serge or zigzag the top edges to finish and clip the seams as necessary.
7. Turn the angel body right side out and press. Fold 1 inch of the top to the inside and press for the neck edge. Place the doily around the outside of the neck and pin in place approximately 1/2 inch from the top, easing in any fullness
8. Thread the ribbon into the chenille needle. Hand-stitch the doily to the chenille with a running stitch, beginning and ending at the center front.
9. Fold the fabric hair strips and tie into bundles. Sew or glue the bundles evenly around the curve of the knit bag head
10. Sew the buttons to the face for eyes. Blush the cheeks.
11. Fill the hot water bottle with warm or cold water and place inside the angel body with the opening at the top. Put the head over the top and tighten the drawstrings . Cut the drawstrings in the center and tie them into a bow. Tighten the ribbon drawstrings around Halo's neck and tie into a bow.
Notes about the water bottle: A warm or cold water bottle is for comfort and is not intended for medical purposes. Do not use a microwave, conventional oven, or stovetop to heat the bottle or water. Use only plain tap water less than 120 degrees F. Water should never be warmer than is comfortable to touch. Even hot tap water can cause burns. Do not fold, sit on, or lie on the bottle during use. Do not expose the bottle to direct sunlight or other heat. Not for use by children under 3 years old. This is not intended as a toy. A heated product should always be used with supervision
