    1 bar Ivory Soap (grated)
    dried orange peel, fragrant rose petals, other herbs or flowers

    1/2 cucumber
    1 egg white
    1 Tbls. lemon juice
    1 tsp. mint

    Directions:
    Mix ingredients in a blender then put in refigerator for 10 minutes. Aplly the mixture to face and then leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with hot water then follow with cold water to close the pores.

    4 T. olive oil, warmed
    4 T. orange juice
    2 drops essential oil*
    * orange flower, if possible.

    Mix all ingredients in blender until fluffy. Store in a tightly-capped bottle or jar.This does not need to be refrigerated, but if the mixture separates, beat again.

    * Cocoa Mint Lip Blam *
    Ingredients:

    25 ounces Beeswax
    33 ounces Shea Butter
    33 ounces Cocoa Butter
    40 ounces Sweet Almond Oil
    2 vitamin E oil capsules - 400 I.U.
    10 drops pepermint EO

    Directions:
    Weigh all ingredients, then melt the oils and Beeswax in microwave. Add the essential oil and pour into prepared containers. Let them cool, then cap. This quantity fills 4 (MMS) Lip Balm Tubes and 3 (MMS) lip balm jars, with just enough remaining for your anxious family members to sample.

    * Chunky Bath Fizzies *
    Ingredients:
    12 ounces Baking Soda
    6 ounces Citric Acid
    2 ounces Cornstarch
    20 drops of Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil
    1.5 ounces Distilled Water in a spray bottle

    Instructions:
    Mix dry ingredients together thoroughly. Spritz lightly with water and continue to mix, it is vital to the success of this recipe that the water portion be added at a very slow pace otherwise it will start to fizz. I have had the best results spritzing once or twice and then mixing before spritzing again. You can rotate between water and color mixture spritzing until you reach the desired range of color. Generally it takes me approximately 1.5 ounces of fluid to obtain the consistency needed. You want to add just enough water so that the mixture is moist enough to hold itself together. It will appear crumbly in the bowl but, if you pick up a handful and squeeze it together, it should hold it's form. Next you'll want to press the mixture into a jelly roll style pan. Let it harden for about 6-12 hours and then break it into desired size chunks and package into bags.

    Notes:
    This recipe is also great for molding into small shapes. ***Hint- Adding color to this recipe can be done with ease if it is mixed into a small amount of water and spritzed lightly into the dry ingredients. Try a .15 cc scoop of the water soluble dyes (Lemon Yellow Dry Color is one) and be wowed by how easy it is to color your bath fizzies!

    Bath Beads *
    Ingredients:
    1/4 cup powdered milk
    2 tbs. powdered sugar
    2 tbs. borax powder(20 Mule Team)
    1/4 cup rose water or orange water
    2 tsp. vitamin E
    10 drops essential oil

    Directions:
    Combine the dried milk, sugar, and borax in a bowl, stirring until well mixed. Add the water, vitamin E, and fragrance. Stir until you have a thick dough. Depending on the humidity in the air, you may need to cut the water amount back. Try adding a little at a time until you get the thick dough. Roll dough into a ball, one teaspoon at a time with your hands. Repeat until all of the dough has been used. Place the balls on a sheet of tin foil or waxed paper and let dry for twenty four hours.

    Homemade Aftershave *

    Ingredients:
    2 cups rubbing alcohol
    1 tbsp glycerin
    1 tbsp dried lavender
    1 tsp dried rosemary
    1 tsp ground cloves

    Directions:
    Stir ingredients together in a bowl. Transfer to a jar, cover, and refrigerate for 3-4 days. Shake occasionally to mix ingredients. After 3-4 days, strain liquid out. Keep refrigerated, will keep for 1-2 months. Yield 2 cups

    * Honey Facial Srub *

    Ingredients:
    1 table-spoon corn-starch
    2 table-spoons corn meal
    3 table-spoons honey

    Directions:
    Just mix it all together, put it in a little container so you can save it because you probably shouldn't used all of it on you face in one day. There you have it, homemade face scrub! I use this every night before I go to bed. It's also a great exfoiliant for
    lips too. Just remember to put chapstick on after, if you do this to your lips

    * HAIR GEL *
    Ingredients:
    2 tbsp Flax seeds
    1 cup water
    A few drops of essential oils (optional, to give the gel a nice smell)

    Directions:

    * Vanilla and Almond Soap *

    1/3 cup whole almonds
    1 4-ounce bar Castile soap

    Grind the almonds to a fine powder in a food processor or coffee grinder and set aside. Shred the soap and set aside. In a heavy saucepan bring the water to a boil; then reduce heat to a simmer; Remove the pan from the heat and add the almond powder, almond oil, and vanilla fragrance oil, stirring until well blended. Spoon the soap into a mold and let set for five hours or until hardened...

    Lipbalm For Coldsores *
    1. Make an oil infusion from lemon balm. To do so, put a handful of lemon balm leaves, dried or fresh, into a glass jar. Cover the leaves with one cup of almond oil and shake daily. Make sure the leaves are completely covered with oil. After two weeks strain the oil through cheesecloth to remove the leaves.2. Heat one ounce of beeswax in a pan until it is just melted (being careful not to overheat it). After this melts, add the infused almond oil stirring until mixed. Remove from the heat and add 1/2 tablespoon of vitamin E oil. The vitamin E oil is not only good for your skin but acts as a preservative.You can pour this balm into small jars for storage. Keep one out to use and put the rest in the refrigerator to increase shelf life or give them away to your friends as gifts
