Arrow Tips to heal pimples, fight off mosquitoes, reduce varicose veins...Part one.

If your powder blusher is streaking, you may need to powder your cheeks lightly first

Mix curds (yogurt) with wheat flour and apply to your skin and take shower after 5 minutes. This cleans the face very gently and helps add needed vitamins too.

Dry- damaged hair?? Well try this :-) Massage hair and scalp with warm avocado or olive oil. Wrap hair securly in a towel. Leave oil on hair about 8 hours or overnight. If left on overnight, put a shower cap over head to avoid staining pillows and bedding.. Wash hair, then rinse with a vinegar /water solution.

Want thick lashes? Apply mascara all the way down to the LASH ROOTS, this will make lashes look their thickest. Holding the wand horizontally, sweep mascara on from roots to ends and roll the wand slightly as you move along the lashes to distribute mascara evenly.

Have canker sore? Try using an infusion of Lady's - Mantle on them.

If you have damaged, fragile, or even tinted hair, egg shampoo might be perfect for you. It is very gentle and cleanses without removing the natural oils from your hair.

Tip for plucking the eyebrows. If you blot a little baby orajel on them before plucking them they are numbed a little and become less painful to pluck

When in Shower and before you shampoo your hair, put conditioner on the ends of your hair and then shampoo. This protects your ends from harsh detergents that are
in the shampoo, and the best part is you won't develop split ends so quickly

Sleep Problems??
Chamomile tea is safe and effective for children with sleep problems and is also said to be helpful for nightmares. Give 1 cup of warm chamomile tea 1/2 hour before bedtime. Take child to toilet just before bed. For small babies, add 1 tablespoon of the tea to the bedtime bottle. For older babies and toddlers, use up to 1/2 cup. This is also very helpful in calming teething babies :-)

To make your lashes look thicker and more full, try this. Apply a coat of brown mascara over all of your lashes. Take a tube of black mascara and just go over the tips of the lashes.

If you have a problem with static in your hair, spray your hairbrush with Static Guard and brush through your hair as usual. It works great! For dandruff, rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar then wash with a mild shampoo. The apple cider vinegar balances
the ph levels of your scalp which can control dandruff. If the dandruff is severe, you may need to see a dermatologist for medication

Always wash your face in an upward and outward motion. This will help push your cleanser up into your pores and get everything clean. It also slows the wrinkle process by pushing up you discourage the drooping of the skin.

Cooked apples make a good local application for sore throat in fevers, inflammation of the eyes, erysipelas, etc. Stewed apples are laxative; raw ones not invariably so

To camouflage and help dry up those nasty little spots, dab on a TEENY spot of calamine lotion. Blend the lotion by tapping it with my finger which helps it get in all the tiny nooks and crannies. Rubbing it just wipes it away. Let it dry thoroughly
(takes seconds) and then pat foundation and/or powder over the spot. Just be careful not to use too much because it can get flaky as it dries

I have found a great remedy for dry skin in the winter and also works great on feet. Take Crisco shortening direct from the can and rub onto legs and feet. Climb into a nice hot bath and soak. The heat from the water helps the crisco soak into your skin. When you get out, I put more on my hot feet and rub in as much as you can, then put on soaks and hop in bed. Works great! And---can't we all use a nice hot relaxing soak at this busy time of year

Baking soda mixed with shampoo strips the residue from your hair, but it also works
great if your baby develops cradle cap. Just mix a very small amount in their baby shampoo and wash as usual, then rub in just a touch of baby oil after you dry it. You'll begin seeing improvement immediately.

For shiny hair, rinse with cider vinegar; one half cup to every quart of water. If natural highlights are what you're looking for, use chamomile tea, or make your own rinse by steeping chamomile flowers in hot water, then strain. Remove build up caused by hair sprays and other products with a rinse of Witch Hazel. Whichever one you use, make sure you catch the liquid in a bowl if you want to rinse your hair more than once.

Is your throat hurting?? Well it could be just your sinuses draining try gargaling with 8oz of warm water with a tsp of salt mixed in it 3 or 4 times a day. This kills the infection that is causing the burning in the throat.

For Grey Hair
Sage covers the grey when used consistently over a period of time. Simmer 1/2 cup dried sage in 2 cups of water for 30 minutes. Steep for 2-3 hours. Strain, use as rinse on clean hair. Leave on until hair has dried, then rinse out.

To lighten your yellow-looking nails, pour three capfuls of hydrogen peroxide into one-third cup of water and soak your fingers for two minutes. Then dip a toothbrush into the solution and brush your talons for a superclean finish. Next, massage both cuticles and nails with a cuticle oil that contains vitamin E (or use a vitamin E capsule). Wait two minutes, then completely remove the oil with a nonacetone polish remove. To prevent nail polish from staining your nails make sure you apply a base coat before applying color.

~Wrinkle treatment~ Take a vitamin C tablet (the strongest you can find) and dissolve it in 1/2 teaspoon boiling water. Let the water cool until comfortable to the touch. Add it to a small amount of eye cream and pat gently under the eye and around the mouth. Vitamin C is the only topical antioxidant that has been proven to prevent oxidation of tissue.

Cheap easy facial mask... Use one egg white apply to face and let sit 10-15 minutes until dry then wipe off with wash rag. I find that this helps rid blemishes and shrinks pores.

Jalex I just want to say Thank You for posting these wonderful ideas. You have truly out done yourself. If you don't mind sharing, where did you find all of these ideas? If it's a book, I would love to purchase it. I have varicose veins. I'm ready to try anything that will help. Thanks a million again!!!!!

At first I wanted to thank you for the compliment.
I found those in a newsletter I used to get. I don't know the address anymore for sure but I think this is the link where you can subscribe.

I hope this is right. And I hope I could help out.

Shrink Pores

To reduce the size of pores
Before bed Cut open a tomato and squeeze the juice out of it and then rub it all over your face. Let it stay on for 5 min. Then wash it off with warm water. You will see a huge difference by morning.
