I have a lot of real pretty wild spanish lace flowers that I would like to keep.
I have seen them where they are spray painted all different colors. I need to know how to do this does anyone know? Thanks |

HI!!!!
I think you should dry them first, here is a link for air drying http://www.mainstreetmom.com/craft/dry_flow.htm here is a link for other forms of drying http://www.hgtv.com/HGTV/project/0,1...t_8861,00.html after they are dry you can spray paint or probably, carefully brushpaint them with some acrylics. |

I also saw a technique where the flowers were arranged and laid flat between a hard surface and fabric (or woven paper) and pressed with a very warm iron. The colors were absorbed into the fabric (or paper) and then heat set in the usual way. I don't recall all the specifics --- but maybe you could experiment a bit. I do remember the end result was very pretty!
