Wedding Place Card Holders - Need Help!!! - Big Big Forums

Hi!! I'm getting married next June, and we're doing quite a bit of the decorations, invitations, etc. ourselves. I need to make placecards, which is simple enough, but I wanted to have cute place card holders. In my search I've found very cute ones but they are all at least $1.99 each. We're having 125 people, so I need to go as cheap as possible!

Does anyone have suggestion on how to MAKE a cute place card holder? I have a year, so there's plenty of time for me to make them all! Thanks so much!!!

Thank you froggy - I need all the help I can get....we're already a couple thousand over what we estimated for our budget so I really need to find ways to economize!!! YIKES

i have seen them use books of matches as place setting cards and favors all in one. Been to a few wedding where the have not been any either, just reserved tables for close family. Might save a few headaches that way . good luck.
